The TP1100M Series Pressure Vacuum Valve is typically employed on atmospheric tanks with special features. Model TP1100M introduces Aktek’s unique ‘cushioned air’ seating, featuring high-performance Teflon® seating diaphragms as standard to minimize sticking caused by resinous vapors and atmospheric moisture. The TP1100M model incorporates a self-draining housing body and drip rings to safeguard seating surfaces from condensate and freezing. This design also prevents pressure or vacuum buildup resulting from binding or clogging of the valve. Buna-N, Viton®, and other seating diaphragms can be provided upon request. The TP1100M model can be spring-loaded when necessary for use on blanketed tanks or other installations requiring higher settings. Peripheral guiding and a center stabilizing system are implemented to ensure the proper alignment of seating surfaces.
